Senior Front- end Developer

As a Front-end Developer, together with the Front- end team, you will help develop the Thinkwise Platform. You work together with the Back- end and Meta-model team to deliver and optimize entire platform features used by thousands of users. The Front-end team develops an abstract cross-platform GUI for both desktop, web and mobile using the latest techniques. At run-time level, the GUI interprets the model of the end application and builds the user interface with components based on it.

Key responsibilities

• You focus on the agile development and realization of complex, well thought-out and user-friendly technical solutions.

• You examine issues technically, investigate them systematically, propose solution directions and realize the chosen solution direction within a team and according to the scrum methodology.

• You know all the methods and techniques and know how to apply them in such a way that you contribute to the innovative Thinkwise development environment.

• You take timely action when quality and deliverables are under pressure and identify issues that others overlook.

• You also dare to call colleagues to account for their behavior, attitude and results if that is good for the collective result.

• You specialize in relevant knowledge domains within your field.

We are looking for someone who likes to realise cool functionalities, fix bugs and think along with us about technical choices, such as our architecture, tools and processes. You can also contribute and realise your own ideas, including during our wildcard days.

In addition, you have:

• You have 3+ years' experience as a Front-end Developer.

• You have a BSc or MSc in, for example, Computer Science.

• You have experience with JavaScript (ES2017), TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

• You are Agile/Scrum oriented, success for you is a team effort.

• React experience is an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
