Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer, you will assist in delivering documentation and release notes to ensure that developers, partners, and potential customers stay informed about the latest developments. You will learn how to carefully document each new feature or platform release.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, such as developers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to gather and verify technical information.
• Translate complex technical descriptions into clear, understandable content for both technical and non-technical audiences, under guidance.
• Assist in maintaining and updating existing documentation to reflect product changes and improvements.
• Support adherence to and contribute to our style guidelines and best practices to ensure our documentation is accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Participate in improving our documentation processes and tools.

We are looking for someone interested in the methods and techniques of technical writing. You are motivated to learn how to write for different audiences, such as developers, front-end designers, and system administrators. You see the complexity of our platform as a challenge and do not shy away from it.

• You are analytical, able to process a lot of new and complex information, and skilled at making connections.
• You have a strong affinity for software development.
• You can quickly switch between different topics and products.
• You have a keen eye for detail and the desire to improve in this area.
• You are very eager to learn, know how to ask the necessary questions but try to find the answers yourself first.
• You have the flexibility to work with different teams and the willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as our documentation is in English. We speak Dutch daily in the office.
