As a Team Lead, you will take the helm in both the strategic and operational aspects of your team. You will foster an inspiring work environment where your team members can thrive and excel. Balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on contributions, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the development process forward.

What will you do?

  • Operational Contribution within the Team:
    You will be actively involved in daily operations. Whether as a developer or tester, you will leverage your technical expertise to advance projects, staying closely connected to the content and serving as a role model for your team.

  • Guiding and Developing Team Members:
    You will play a crucial role in the professional growth of your team members. Through coaching, support, and feedback, you will help them hone their talents and skills.

  • Monitoring and Enhancing Team Performance:
    With a keen eye for detail, you will oversee project progress and ensure the highest quality of work. You will analyze team performance, identify bottlenecks, and initiate improvements as needed.

  • Defining and Achieving Team and Department Goals:
    Translating Thinkwise’s strategic goals into concrete action plans for your team will be key. You will ensure clear communication of these goals and closely monitor progress.

Job requirements

We are looking for a motivated Team Lead Software Development or an experienced Software Developer, Tester, or DevOps Engineer ready to step into a leadership role. You are passionate about building and optimizing a team while creating an inspiring and motivating work environment.

Additionally:

  • Leadership Potential: The ambition and talent to lead, guide, and elevate a team.

  • A bachelor’s degree (HBO level) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in software development, testing, or DevOps.

  • Fluent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

  • Strong communicative and leadership skills to effectively inspire and guide your team.

  • Problem-solving abilities: You are resilient under pressure, solution-oriented, and excel in stressful situations.
